Who handles your information

Fitting.ie is responsible for personal information submitted through this website. For a privacy request, use Get Quote and write “Privacy request” in the message so it can be identified and handled separately from a fitting enquiry.

What you choose to provide

The quote form asks for your name, contact detail, preferred reply method, optional Dublin area and a description of the work. You can also attach up to five job photos. Photos may show parts of your property, so only send images needed to explain the job.

Why it is used

Your information is used to understand and reply to your request, clarify the work, prepare or coordinate a quote, arrange the service if you proceed, and keep records needed to manage the enquiry or resulting job.

Service providers

The quote system uses Firebase and Google Cloud to receive and protect form submissions and Resend to deliver the request by email. These providers process information only as needed to provide the relevant technical service.

Abuse prevention

The form uses validation, a hidden spam field, timing checks and rate limiting. A one-way salted hash derived from the network address is used for rate limiting; the public form does not use a visible CAPTCHA.

Retention

Enquiry information is kept only while it is needed to respond, manage any resulting work, meet applicable accounting or legal obligations, or resolve a dispute. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of personal data. Use the website quote form with “Privacy request” in the message to make a request.

Cookies and analytics

The base website does not use advertising or marketing cookies and does not include analytics by default. If analytics or marketing technology is added later, this notice and any consent requirements must be updated before it is enabled.
